5 Tips for Long Distance Travel | Business

Lately I feel like my life has consisted of travel time or time at home before our next trip. I went to San Francisco in December, Africa in January, Arizona in March, and Lake Tahoe in June. I will travel again to Africa this year and in between all those trips I have been visiting family and shooting weddings all over Virginia and the East Coast.

With all this traveling I have learned a lot about how to be comfortable on a plane - and what not to do! Here are my 5 best tips for traveling, especially on long airplane rides and layovers. Enjoy!

1) Pack some basic necessities in your carry-on...

What happens when you have 2 hours allotted for bridal party and bride and groom portraits? I was SO excited coming into this wedding because I knew having so much time would give Stephen and Laura the gift of so much variety in a relaxed space on a day that may otherwise be simply movement from one event to the next! Hello again, it is hard to fathom that our seasonal flower chats are drawing to a close.  I have enjoyed talking your ear off about blooms in their prime and the myriad of textures and price points available.  Summer is gently teasing us lately with warm sun kissed pavement, glorious sunsets, and frosty treats.  There are many aspects of summer I thoroughly enjoy, but none quite compare to strolling through a farmers market and spotting a stand of resplendent summer blooms.  It puts a smile on my face and a skip in my step...
